I’m Kevin Bisson, a health and safety professional with over 20 years of experience across a range of industries, including construction, food manufacturing, and Alberta’s oil sands. I began my career as a Journeyman Electrician, giving me first-hand insight into real-world job site challenges and the importance of practical, workable safety solutions.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across residential, commercial, and industrial construction, as well as food manufacturing and heavy mining. These experiences have shaped my approach to health and safety: safety systems should support the work—not create barriers.

I founded Canbela Safety Consulting Ltd. in 2026 to simplify health and safety by providing clear, compliant Health & Safety Management Systems tailored to each client’s needs. More importantly, I provide ongoing, hands-on support to ensure these systems remain practical, effective, and easy to manage.

My goal is simple: to deliver safety programs that people actually use—helping businesses stay compliant, protect their workers, and keep moving forward without unnecessary complexity.
